Equipment Troubleshooting

The following are typical problems with equipment that can occur on a daily basis.

Leaking Coolers:

  • If you think that the cooler is leaking, it is probably the bottle that is defective. There is a simple way to check to see whether the bottle or the cooler is causing the problem. First, you should remove the bottle from the cooler. Note where the water level in the reservoir is; watch it for a few minutes, if the water lever drops then the cooler is definitely leaking. If the water level in the reservoir stays the same, then the leak is coming from a crack in the bottle.
  • After removing the bottle, if you are still unsure about the source of the leak, place another bottle on the cooler. If the cooler continues to leak, then there is a problem with the cooler and not the bottles.
  • If you perform these tests and the cooler is still leaking, simply call customer service at 1-877-628-9426 and request an exchange of the cooler. If it is the bottle that has a leak, simply mark it and leave it out for the driver, he will replace it for you at no charge.

 No Hot Water:

  • Check to make sure that the outlet the cooler is plugged into is working. Make sure that the outlet does not use a switch that is turned off.
  • On the back of the cooler there is a switch for the hot water, make sure that the hot water switch is in the “On” position.
  • If the outlet is working and the hot water switch is in the “On” position, please call our office at 1-877-628-9426 to set up an appointment to replace the cooler.

No Cold Water:

  • Check to make sure that the outlet the cooler is plugged into is working. Make sure that the outlet does not use a switch that is turned off.
  • If the water is able to flow out of the spigot then you should check the thermostat located on the back of the cooler. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise, which will decrease the temperature of the water.
  • If the spigot does not produce any water, it is being blocked by ice. This problem usually occurs during the change in seasons. Simply unplug the cooler, and then turn the thermostat one-quarter turn counter clockwise. Let the cooler thaw out until the flows normally through the spigot then plug the cooler back in.
  • If all of the steps listed above do not solve the problem, please call us at 1-877-628-9426 to set up an appointment to replace the cooler.

Bottle and/or Cooler is Boiling:

  • You should immediately unplug the cooler. Unplugging the cooler will stop all electricity from flowing to the cooler and prevent any further damage.
  • Please call us at 1-877-628-9426 to set up an appointment to replace the cooler.

Water Dripping from Spigot:

  • Simply tighten the top of the water spigot, underneath the lever.
  • If the spigot is still dripping, call our office at 1-877-628-9426. We will set up an appointment to help you correct this problem.
